Do you accept trade-in item(s) from outside of the United States?

No, we currently do not accept shipments from outside the United States. 

How does the process work for refurbished gaming equipment?

First, every item that we receive is wiped of all data and factory reset.

Next, each item goes through a multi-test QC inspection process by our in-house technicians to ensure they are fully functional and in the best possible cosmetic condition to provide our customers with the best experience possible.

 

By definition: Refurbishing is the maintenance or repair of an item, aesthetically or mechanically. In the U.S., refurbished products cannot be sold as new, so they must be relabeled as “refurbished” even if they are as good as new. Generally, refurbished items are re-tested and certified prior to resale.

 

Refurbished items can be returned for reasons unrelated to product performance. Most of these products have nothing wrong with them, they are simply exchanged due to the buyer changing their mind or minor cosmetic damage, like scratches or dents. These items may have never been used, as it may have been a unit with a damaged box or simply an overstock model that many retailers return to the manufacturers to make room for incoming models.

How is a trade-in offer calculated?

Our offer price is a combination of factors like current and future market demand and production condition. Please note all offers are subject to change upon receipt and inspection. Follow our product condition guidelines to ensure you get the best offer for your trade-in item.

How long is my trade-in offer good for?

Offers are valid for 30 days. Please make sure to ship your item to us within 30 days from the date of your original offer.

Do I have to pay to ship my trade-in item(s) to GameSwift?

We offer fast & FREE shipping on all GameSwift.com purchases and trade-ins - which means shipping costs you nothing! For trade-ins: Simply print out your label shipping kit, attach it to your package and take it to your nearest FedEx drop-off point.

How do I ship my trade-in item(s)?

You will receive an email to access to your FREE shipping kit. Simply print your FREE pre-paid shipping label and directions, securely pack your trade-in item(s) according to the directions and drop off at your nearest FedEx location. If you do not have access to a printer, please indication this in your account order or email us to let us know and we will print and send to your address via USPS Mail.

What if I do not have a printer?

If you cannot access a printer, please mark this in your trade-in account order or email us, and we will print and send to your address via USPS Mail.

What happens after I ship my trade-in?

You can easily track the progress of your package using the tracking number on the shipping label or in your account. Once we receive your package, it is scanned into our system and will show in the tracking. Over the next few days it will be inspected and our system will email you every step of the way through the rest of the trade-in process.

How and when will I get paid for my trade-in?

GAMESWIFT.COM trade-in payments are only made via Cashapp and Paypal. You must provide us with either your Cashapp or Paypal payment information when placing a trade-in order to receive payment. NOTE: Once all inspections have been completed by our team and you have fully accepted our most recent offer in the system, payments will be initiated. After this step, please allow 48 to 72 hours (2-3 days) for payment to show on your account.

What should I do if I haven’t received my trade-in payment?

Once we have inspected your item(s), we typically issue the payment within 24-48 hours (2-3 days) of approval. For each payment, you will receive an email from us notifying you of the payment.

What if I am unsure of the condition of my trade-in item(s)?

Do your best to follow our guide to select a condition that you feel is most accurate. Once we receive your item(s), we will evaluate it and adjust your offer accordingly.

Please note that the final offer price could end up being higher or lower. If there is a change, we will send you a revised offer good for 30 days to accept or deny. You must accept it for payment to be initiated.

Excellent

The item is used, but is 100% functional with no issues, meaning it looks flawless and in pristine condition. 

Operation: 100% fully functional; no physical or software modifications have been made to the console.

Cosmetics: Flawless, like new, with absolutely no dents, scratches, or blemishes. 

Accessories: Must include controller, and necessary cables for function. 

Engravings/Identifying Marks: None.

GOOD

The item is used and may show normal signs of everyday use, but is 100% fully functional with no issues. It may show some cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, or identifying marks. 

Operation: 100% fully functional; no physical or software modifications have been made to the console.

Cosmetics: Minor signs of cosmetic wear, including light scratches, scuffs, or identifying marks. *Note: Major cosmetic issues, like large cracks, scratches of significant depth, or engravings in the device will result in a quote that reflects a POOR condition item. 

Accessories: Must include controller, and necessary cables for function. 

Engravings/Identifying Marks: Markings made with permanent marker or paint are acceptable, but engravings on the item are not.

The item may be worn and have heavy physical damage, such as cracks and deep scratches, but must be 100% fully functional and function as normal. If it does not, it is considered in DEFECTIVE condition.

Operation: 100% fully functional; no physical or software modifications have been made to the console.

Cosmetics: Major signs of cosmetic wear, including deep scratches and scuffs, cracks, or identifying marks.

Accessories: Must include controller, and necessary cables for function. 

Engravings/Identifying Marks: Engravings and markings are accepted under this condition.

DEFECTIVE

The item is in this condition if it is not functioning normally or is not 100% fully functional, regardless of the cosmetic appearance, etc.

We accept these devices as e-waste and/or a donation and do not provide payment for them.
