How does the process work for refurbished gaming equipment?
Each item goes through a multi-test QC inspection process by our in-house technicians to ensure they are fully functional and in the best possible cosmetic condition to provide our customers with the best experience possible.
By definition: Refurbishing is the maintenance or repair of an item, aesthetically or mechanically. In the U.S., refurbished products cannot be sold as new, so they must be relabeled as “refurbished” even if they are as good as new. Generally, refurbished items are re-tested and certified prior to resale.
Refurbished items can be returned for reasons unrelated to product performance. Most of these products have nothing wrong with them, they are simply exchanged due to the buyer changing their mind or minor cosmetic damage, like scratches or dents. These items may have never been used, as it may have been a unit with a damaged box or simply an overstock model that many retailers return to the manufacturers to make room for incoming models.
